Accessibility Statement

Last updated: February 2026.

Stretton on Dunsmore Charities is committed to making this website as accessible as possible to everyone, regardless of ability or technology. We want all visitors — including people using assistive technologies — to be able to read about the charity and contact the trustees easily.

Standards we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Among other things this means:

  • the site is designed to work well on a wide range of devices and screen sizes;
  • colour contrast between text and background meets recommended ratios;
  • the site can be navigated using a keyboard, with visible focus styles;
  • images that carry meaning are given alternative text, and purely decorative elements are marked as such;
  • page structure uses meaningful headings so that screen readers can announce content clearly.

Known limitations

This is a small, volunteer–run website and it may not be perfect. If you encounter something that does not work for you — a page that is hard to read, a link that is confusing, a control that doesn’t respond to your keyboard — please tell us and we will do our best to put it right.

How to report a problem

Please email info@stretton-charities.org.uk describing the issue and, if possible, the page where you found it and the device or assistive technology you are using. We will reply as quickly as we can.

Enforcement

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the public sector bodies accessibility regulations. If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
